All vehicles require a valid MOT to drive on the road.
Your MOT certificate will not be extended becuase of COVID-19.
Driving with an expired MOT can lead to a fine of up to £1,000.
Opening hours are subject to change and our telephones may not be manned all day, however:
You can make an MOT booking online at any time.
Travel to have your vehicle MOT tested (and serviced or repaired) is an essential journey and is permitted.
Drivers are encouraged to book an MOT test well in advance of expiry.
You can still arrange an MOT test up to 1 month before the expiry date.
You cannot TAX your vehicle without a valid MOT.
DVLA will not automatically renew your tax if your MOT has run out
(even if you pay by direct debit).
